Discover, buried in a small village of Mahébourg, a cassava biscuit factory using a unique artisan process which perpetuates a tradition of more than 125 years. The visit will continue with the naval museum of Mahébourg, a typical building of the French era on the island. Then from Pointe d’Esny, take the canoe to Ile aux Aigrettes. It is the last refuge of the ebony forest and the sanctuary of endemic animal and plant species. Enjoy a typical Mauritian menu in Mahébourg and before returning take off to La Vanille Reserve Mascarene which is home to giant turtles, reptiles, crocodiles and an impressive collection of butterflies and insects from around the world.
